Following the official announcement from the Government regarding the tentative plans to re-open primary schools, I would like to reassure you that our priority remains the same - to keep our children, families and staff safe. This will continue to be our ultimate priority going forward.

I would particularly like to assure you that I fully understand the responsibility we have to our children and community to make the right choices for the safety of everyone. It is crucial we get this right, so planning will be meticulous.

We will continue to remain open for the children of key workers and certain identified groups and this will remain the same for the weeks beginning 1st and 8th June. If we feel that school is safe we will consider opening school for children in the year groups identified by the government in a safe and phased way.

If you are a key worker and would like a place in school from 1st June please can you contact school this week and we will discuss this with you.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support. Like you, we are all desperate to get back to normal and there is nothing we would like more than to open school to all of our children and families. Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment.

We will continue to provide home learning for children through SeeSaw. We also have home learning packs which can be ordered and collected from school.

If you would like to ask any questions or need support please contact us in school by phone or by email.

You can find a letter from Salford City Council on our letters page.

Kind regards

Miss Jordan
