This week in school we will be holding a 'Diversity Week' to celebrate World Kindness Day, Anti Bullying Week and Interfaith Week. The theme of this week is 'All Different All Equal' and will build on our 'No Outsiders' work.

We hope you have had a good half term, we are looking forward to seeing all our children and their families back in school tomorrow.

Our school council is elected by their classmates. Our Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl were voted for by school staff. We are looking forward to the positive contribution they will all make to Summerville over this academic year.

We are holding a coffee morning between 8:30am -10:30am today to raise money for Macmillan cancer support. Any cake donations will be gratefully received.

On Friday 22nd September we will be celebrating The Greater Manchester Daily Mile. Throughout the day all children will have the opportunity to run around the playground with their class for 15 minutes. At 2:30pm we will have a Daily Mile presentation in the hall for parents and carers followed by a family and staff 15 minute Daily Mile run around the playground after school.
