We are proud of our vibrant, diverse and friendly school where children enjoy the exciting range of opportunities and make excellent progress. We are strongly committed to developing all children academically, emotionally and socially. Our expectations are high, both in learning and behaviour.
I am passionate about enabling all children in our local communities to have the very best possible educational opportunities. I have extremely high expectations of all the children, both in terms of their academic achievement and their social and emotional development.
The curriculum we provide at Summerville is tailor made to give all children a thirst for learning, a motivated engagement in school and the best chance of academic success. There is a strong emphasis on developing confidence and skills to be excellent communicators in all situations. The school has a strong sense of community, with nurture and strong relationships at its core.

Welcome back and a happy new year to you all!
It's fantastic to see everyone back in school for the start of another new year at Summerville and we're excited to welcome Miss Straker to the Summerville family.
This morning we had an assembly all about new beginnings and settings goals for ourselves for this year. Miss Straker has set herself the goal of learning everybody's name in school so we'll all be helping her to achieve this as soon as possible!
We're looking forward to another great term in school!
